It’s the station where Mandrake took the train. There are pickpockets, antani, abusive sellers, trains, militaries, tourists, shops, underground, mascetti, mandrake, etc etc.

My first visit to Stazione Termini was back in 1988–91, and it left me with unforgettable memories. The station has always been full of life — busy, a little chaotic, but full of that unmistakable Roman energy. It felt like the true gateway into the city. One of the things I still remember fondly are the pizza spots right next to the station — simple, local, and absolutely delicious. After a long train ride, grabbing a hot slice there was one of the highlights of my trip. Even now, I can almost taste it when I think back. I would love to visit again and see how much has changed. I’ve heard the station has modern shops and services today, but I’m sure the atmosphere — and hopefully those amazing pizza places — still makes it a special part of Rome. For me, Termini isn’t just a train station, it’s a piece of travel nostalgia — a mix of movement, food, and memories that I’d be happy to relive.
